This is the Cool Colors set of Mildliners and is a beautiful addition to your marker and highlighter arsenal. The colors are lovely-- Red, Violet, Gray, Blue, and Green.
These gorgeous highlighter pens are comfortable to hold, have a bold and fine tip, and come in beautiful colors. Also, they're just really pretty to look at. The bold tip is your classic chisel tip that's great for highlighting. The fine tip is better for underlining and circling important things in your notes and planners or for coloring in small areas.
One important thing to keep in mind about mildliners is that they are water-based ink! This means they will likely smear pen ink even if it's been drying for a bit.
If you want to use mildliners to create pretty headers in your planner or journal, I would highlight the area first and then write on it. For the less perfectionist types, go ahead and write all the things you want to write, let it dry for about 15 minutes or so, and then go back and highlight. You'll probably smear a little but, done is better than perfect, right?
As with all markers and highlighters, bleed-through depends mostly on paper quality. The thicker the paper, the less bleed-through.
These highlighters are really pretty and I wish they'd been around when I was in school. Thankfully, I get to run a business now and that's the best excuse for using pretty office supplies.
