Mildliners have blown up the past couple of years and with good reason.
These gorgeous highlighter pens are comfortable to hold, have a bold and fine tip, and come in beautiful colors. Also, they're just really pretty to look at.
This simple set of 3 is an essential one. The colors are pastel neon pink, yellow, and green. These are much gentler on the eyes than the classic fluorescent highlighters we've grown up on here in the USA.
One important thing to keep in mind about mildliners is that they are water-based ink! This means they will likely smear pen ink even if it's been drying for a bit.
If you want to use mildliners to create pretty headers in your planner or journal, I would highlight the area first and then write on it. For the less perfectionist types, go ahead and write all the things you want to write, let it dry for about 15 minutes or so, and then go back and highlight. You'll probably smear a little but, done is better than perfect, right?
By the way, it is really hard to capture the true color of these in swatch tests on the camera. I tried, I really did but it's just not the same. The best way to envision these colors is by their name- pastel neon.
As with all markers and highlighters, bleed-through depends mostly on paper quality. The thicker the paper, the less bleed-through.
These highlighters are really pretty and I wish they'd been around when I was in school. Thankfully, I get to run a business now and that's the best excuse for using pretty office supplies.
Pair these with some fun gel pens (https://www.colorfulcute.com/collections/pens-pencils) and a great notebook (https://www.colorfulcute.com/collections/notebooks-journals) and you're off to the races!
The colors are not too bright, which makes it perfect! I find normal highlighters to be too bright especially when looking over notes.
I love the option of being able to use the chunky end or the thin end. I've always just been used to highlighting over stuff, but always wished I could just underline.
They are also really easy to glide across the paper. They do not have so much wetness that they bleed through or eat the paper!
I was so excited to hear these would be in the shop, these are such a nice change from the super bright and sometimes annoying average highlighters. Hence the name mid-liner. I use these to color code in my planner so for example bills, appointments, outings etc, and they do not bleed through the paper! They also are double ended. The normal tip (bigger one) is perfect width (not as chunky as an average one) and the smaller one is great for underlining! I definitely think these are great for studying, planning and anything else you may want to highlight.
